Welcome to the world of health and aesthetics! I am glad you have decided to follow my blog. My mission is to encourage you to look and feel your best by sharing my love of all things related to feeling good, living healthy, feeling confident, and feeling at ease in your own skin.
I started my career in heart-lung surgery and am a specialist in general medicine. Being a licensed medical doctor since 2008 and an aesthetician since 2013, The Vrije University Medical Center in Amsterdam is where I studied and Amsterdam is also my hometown.
My love for health and aesthetics led me to new adventures in the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. So we made the decision to launch aesthetic clinics in 2020 in Stockholm and Amsterdam.
I have personally witnessed the transforming effect of aesthetics on the body and mind as both an aesthetician and a medical professional. Aesthetics is more than just looking nice; it’s also about feeling good, living healthy, feeling confident, and feeling at ease in your own skin. By improving your natural beauty and boosting your self-esteem, you may improve all facets of your life. And this is where Health and Aesthetics come together.
In my practice, I specialise in a variety of aesthetic procedures, such as Botulinum toxin A, bio-stimulation, anti-aging, acne treatment, hair restoration, skin rejuvenation and laser treatments. I think that because each person is different, their aesthetic requirements should be treated individually. To create a treatment plan that is unique to you and achieves the results that you look for, I take the time to understand your goals, challenges, and preferences. We’ll also pay attention to both your physical and mental health. Since I am a specialist in general medicine, you are always welcome to consult me regarding other health issues.
